OK, so there is no doubt that the reason many of you have clicked on this article is because you have heard that there is a million ways to make money online and yet most of you have not figured out how to capitalize on any of them.

In this article I will run through one avenue of income that many marketers have great success in and happens to be one of the easiest ways to break into the internet pot of gold. OK so without further delay, let’s dive right in.

First off, let me explain a little about what this method is. That way you will have a better understanding and comprehend what I am about to tell you.

Basically this method of earning income online involves you signing up for 1 or more affiliate programs of your choice. My affiliate picking ground of choice happens to be Clickbank.

After choosing and signing up for your affiliate program, the next step is to head over to yahoo marketing, formerly Overture, or better still Google Adwords. This is how you are going to drive traffic to your affiliate website.

Here you bid on keywords that are directly related to whatever the product is you are selling. This is a critical stage in the process because depending on how much you spend on your keywords and what keywords you choose, you can either get a ton of traffic, or none at all.

OK, so now that you have a sort of general understanding of how this system works, let’s go a little more in depth. First up, picking an affiliate program. For simplicity sake we will use Clickbank as a model here. When picking an affiliate program, don’t pick the first one you see.

Under each product listed on Clickbank, you will notice 4 stats in green. $/sale: how much you make per sale| %/sale: percentage made from each sale| %refd: percentage of product sold by affiliates | grav:how popular a product is.

You will want to analyze each of these to properly select good candidates to promote. Then check out the product’s pitch page to see how well written it is. If you have ever bought something online like an ebook or some software chances are you already know what a good sales letter looks like. They got you to buy right???

Once you find a good product to promote, next you need to create your hoplink. After that, your next task at hand is to head over to Google Adwords. Adwords can be a little daunting at first, but believe me, once you get the hang of it, it really isn’t all that difficult.

I won’t go to much in depth here because there is a lot to it, but I will do my best to give you the basics and at least steer you in the right direction. First off you will want to set up your Adwords account if you haven’t already.

Next up, try and think up some keywords and phrases that relate to your product. For example, if you are promoting an ebook on how to fish, one keyword could be fishing techniques.

From there you can either use Google’s own Keyword generator for similar keywords or phrases or Yahoo’s keyword selector tool to find related keywords. Both by the way are free to use.

After generating some related terms, head over to another one of Google’s free tools, the Traffic Estimator. Enter in your keywords and the CPC (cost per click you are willing to pay) and the Traffic Estimator will give you a rough estimate on how well your keywords will perform.

Now, take all of the best performing keywords for fishing techniques and add them to your ad group. An ad group is one or more ads which target one set of keywords or sites.

Now that you have your keywords for your ad group, create a couple of different ads in your ad group that center around your set of keywords for optimum results. If it seems a little confusing, I understand, I used to think so too. So maybe fiddle around with the Google Adwords help section to better familiarize yourself with what I am telling you.

Now find another keyword that relates to “how to fish” and repeat the process. Adding these keywords to another ad group. Try to develop at least 5 ad groups for your product of choice and then activate them.

If you choose your keywords and phrases properly, you will get almost instant results, which is the best part of this system. Money can be made instantly.

I suggest to anyone who is looking for a way to make money online to at least give this method a shot. With a little practice and dedication, you will find this to be much easier then it seems right now. The money is there for the taking, all it takes is a little drive and perseverance and you too can be well on your way to some internet cash.
